Kimberly Counes is a graphic designer and artist, currently based in Oakland, CA, and has worked professionally in Washington DC, New York, Chicago, and the Bay Area. She received her MFA in 2D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI, in 2010. When not making art, she feeds her addiction to politics by scouring every available news source and tries desperately not to shop online for shoes because they never fit the way they are supposed to and you always end up having to send them back. Other than that she's a pretty decent golfer (when she tries) and can be easily swayed with a combination of popcorn and lotto scratch tickets.
